Membership
When you join the membership of the Florida
Supportive Housing Coalition, you will receive periodic newsletters, E-mail
updates, and discounted conference registration. Members can also
participate in any of our committees.
There are two types of membership:
Individual Membership
Any individual who subscribes to the general and specific purposes of the Coalition may become an Individual Member of the Coalition.
Dues $100
Benefits
- Special member discount for registration at the statewide annual conference
- Receive continuing education units at statewide conference
- Individual receives monthly electronic newsletter which provides important information to individuals working in the supportive housing field
- Individual receives legislative alerts and information on how you can support the Florida Supportive Housing Coalition's advocacy efforts with the state legislature
- Opportunity to serve on Florida Supportive Housing Coalition committees
- Opportunity to run for Coalition Board of Directors
- Vote at Annual Meeting
- Networking opportunity with other individuals in the field during trainings

Organizational Membership
Sustaining Membership
An organizational member that chooses to provide additional financial support to the Florida Supportive Housing Coalition in the form of increased membership dues. Sustaining members subscribe to the general and specific purposes of the Coalition. Organizations may designate one authorized representative and one authorized alternate to serve in the absence of the representative at meetings of the membership.
Dues - $1000
Benefits
- In appreciation for higher level of financial support, recognition of the organization as a sustaining member on the Florida Supportive Housing Website, monthly newsletters, and annual conference program.
- One free annual conference registration
- All other members of the organization receives a discount to the statewide annual conference
- Staff receive continuing education units at statewide conference
- Organization receives monthly electronic newsletter which provides important information to individuals working in the supportive housing field
- Organization receives legislative alerts and information on how the organization can support the Florida Supportive Housing Coalition's advocacy efforts with the state legislature
- Opportunity to serve on Florida Supportive Housing Coalition committees
- Opportunity to run for Coalition Board of Directors
- Vote at Annual Meeting
- Networking opportunities with other individuals in the field during trainings
- Membership certificate
Organizational Membership

Organizations may designate one authorized representative and one authorized alternate to serve in the absence of the representative at meetings of the membership.
Dues
$1,000 Sustaining
$500 Large Nonprofit Organization (26+ employees)
$250 Mid-sized Nonprofit Organization (6-25 employees)
$100 Small Nonprofit Organization (5 or fewer employees)
$100 Local government entity, city, county, etc.
$500 For Profit Corporation

Partner Membership
Statewide advocacy organizations that subscribe to the general and specific purposes of the Coalition may be invited to become partner organization members. An entity may become a Partner Organization Member by a three-fourths majority vote at any duly constituted meeting of the Board. Each Partner Organization Member shall designate one authorized representative and one authorized alternate to serve in the absence of the representative in meetings of the membership.
Dues vary depending on size of organization; partner members are encouraged to become sustaining members.

- Serve on FLSHC Board of Directors with authority to make organizational policy and management decisions.
- All members of the administrative office of the organization receive a discount to the statewide annual conference
- Receive continuing education units at statewide conference
- Organization receives monthly electronic newsletter which provides important information to individuals working in the supportive housing field
- Organization receives legislative alerts and information on how your organization and its members can support the Florida Supportive Housing Coalition's advocacy efforts with the state legislature
