3rd Annual Statewide Supportive Housing and Homeless Conference

Free Florida Housing Locator

Florida Housing Finance Corporation is pleased to provide a FREE online affordable rental housing locator, www.FloridaHousingSearch.org. Designed for people who trying to find available affordable housing options as well as for landlords who want to register their affordable properties, FloridaHousingSearch is the primary source for available affordable housing. Consumers can search for properties by address, number of bedrooms, rent amount, Section 8 acceptance, and a variety of other features.

FloridaHousingSearch can be accessed online 24 hours a day and is supported by a toll-free, bilingual call center M-F, 9-6 EST., The site connects people to other housing resources through website links and provides helpful tools for renters, such as an affordability calculator, rental checklist and renter rights and responsibilities information. Landlords can easily list, advertise, and update their properties online.

SAMHSA's Homelessness Resource Center (HRC) Web Site

SAMHSA's Homelessness Resource Center (HRC) Web site SAMHSA's new Homelessness Resource Center (HRC) Web site launched this week. Targeted toward providers who work with people who are homeless, the Web site shares state-of-the art knowledge, evidence-based practices, and practical resources.

The Web site provides an interactive learning community for researchers, providers, consumers, and Government agencies at all levels. It is an easy-to-manage resource with content that informs, features that engage, and training that is useful. These elements are brought together to promote recovery-oriented and consumer-centered services for people who are homeless.

Florida Housing Finance Corporation Workshop Series

Each year the Florida Housing Finance Corporation sponsors workshops for organizations interested in learning more about developing affordable housing in Florida. There is no cost to attend these workshops, but space is limited. Check the FHFC Calendar and sign up for these events.
